Lincoln's Cottage (Outdoors)
President Lincoln and Soldiers’ Home National Monument, sometimes shortened to President Lincoln's Cottage, is a national monument on the grounds of the Soldiers' Home, known today as the Armed Forces Retirement Home. It is located between the Petworth and Brookland neighborhoods in Washington, D.C.
The entrance to the campus is at through the Guard Station at 140 Rock Creek Church Rd NW, Washington, DC. Whether you're entering on foot or by car, let the guard on duty know that you're attending "Stroller Strides". They will ask for ID and take your license plate number if applicable and direct you to the class location.
Classes meet in the picnic area or in the bandstand. The instructor will confirm the exact location of class in the pike note sent out before class.
