As a former athlete and personal trainer, I have always loved moving my body and pushing myself mentally physically. However, after I became a mom, I felt like I was starting from square one - my body had just done this miraculous thing, but even doing a few squats felt so strange and difficult! After starting and stopping a few different workouts and having my second child, I decided to sign up for a Fit4Mom Stroller Strides class to see what it was all about. From there, I signed up for a BodyWell session and felt like I had finally found something I could commit to as well as a community that understood not just the ups and downs of new parenthood, but also the need to take of yourself as a parent. I felt so much stronger and found so much encouragement in my first BodyWell session that I signed up for two more sessions and decided to become an instructor myself. I'm excited to help other moms get stronger, achieve their fitness goals, and make time for themselves!
